About aiAnimals

aiAnimals originated in the hearts of my daughters who love animals.  The name combines ‘ai,’ which means ‘love’ in Japanese, with ‘animals’ to essentially mean “Love Animals.”  The name also makes a pretty bad pun since phonetically it is ‘iAnimals’ and it will soon be available on the iPhone…  Blame me, not the kids!  That one was my idea.

The game, however, is their idea.  My daughters wanted to play games with their friends and although the number of games on iTunes continues to explode, at the time we decided to make this game, there was no one else making games for the iPhone that satisfies the interests of animal lovers.

However, I was not content to make an addicting little game.  I wanted it to do something positive for the world.  After considering the game and the fact that it celebrates the love of animals, I decided that a significant portion of each sale would go to save or protect animals- and always will!
